A founder's story.

Judith-Chandler Moses Quintrell is an American entrepreneur, interior designer, and the founder of Spring & Stitch, a pioneering textiles and home goods company based in Atlanta, Georgia. Known for coining the term “Active Furniture™,” Judith created a new category of home decor that sits at the intersection of luxury play furniture and functional fitness. Her flagship inventions, The Bounder™ and The Hopper™ for Kids, are patent-pending trampoline ottomans designed to let children play actively without sacrificing a home’s aesthetic appeal.

The inspiration for Spring & Stitch began in Judith’s own Atlanta living room. As a mother of two energetic daughters, she grew tired of cheap, industrial-looking trampolines being banished to the garage while her children continued to bounce on the family sofa. Recognizing a gap in the market for commercially available play furniture that delivers a real bounce while complementing elevated interior spaces, she decided to design her own.

Spring & Stitch represents the perfect convergence of Judith’s diverse professional careers. In 2017, she launched her own successful interior design firm, Judith-Chandler Interiors, which she still runs today. Prior to her work in interior design, she spent several years working as an operational marketing consultant, helping businesses tackle complex growth challenges across brand strategy, market positioning, and revenue optimization.

Judith holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Georgia. By combining her analytical background, marketing expertise, and design sensibilities, she has successfully brought high-quality, heirloom-level craftsmanship to active family living. Her guiding design principle remains simple: “The best-designed rooms aren’t the ones no one touches. They’re the ones everyone lives in.”

Designed to look beautiful. Built to bounce back. For parenting on the rebound.
